Trendsniper ("we", "our", "us") is operated by Hugo Biais. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the Trendsniper mobile application ("the App").

By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

Account Information

• Name and email address (provided via Apple Sign-In or Google Sign-In)
• Account creation date

Usage Information

• Your stated goals and preferred content creation platforms (collected during onboarding)
• Custom search queries, keywords, and filters you create
• Trending content and creators you view
• Credits balance and search usage

Technical Information

• Device type, operating system version, and app version

3. How We Use Your Information

• Provide and operate the Trendsniper service
• Personalize your trend discovery experience
• Manage your account and credits system
• Send push notifications about trends and digests (only if you opt in)
• Improve and develop new features

4. Information We Do Not Collect

Trendsniper does not access or collect:

• Location data
• Camera or microphone access
• Contacts or address book
• Photos or media library

Firebase Analytics and Firebase Ads are disabled in the App. We do not use advertising SDKs or analytics tracking services.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Firebase Authentication — to manage your account via Apple Sign-In and Google Sign-In
• Firebase Firestore — to securely store your searches, preferences, and account data on Google Cloud infrastructure

We do not share your personal data with advertisers or data brokers.

6. Push Notifications

You may opt in to push notifications during onboarding. You can disable notifications at any time through your device settings. We use notifications to alert you about trend updates and weekly digests.

7. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on Firebase Firestore, which runs on Google Cloud infrastructure. Data is encrypted both in transit (TLS) and at rest. We take reasonable measures to protect your information, but no system is 100% secure.

8. Your Rights and Choices

• Access: You can view your account information within the App.
• Deletion: You can permanently delete your account and all associated data from the Settings screen in the App.
• Notifications: You can opt out of push notifications at any time via your device settings.

9. Children's Privacy

Trendsniper is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us so we can delete it.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by updating the effective date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
